The Annual General Meeting of Dumfries Saints Rugby Club

 will be held in the Rugby Club, Park Farm on Wednesday 11th June 2025 at 7.00pm

 9.   SUBSCRIPTIONS 2024/2025

Following consideration of club costs and income, the Club proposes that the annual membership for the coming year will be as follows:-

All Micros, Minis & Midis memberships will now include Game day Subs (£6).

Memberships can be paid in full, or on a monthly basis over 12 months.

MICROS/MINIS - £10.50 per month 

MIDIS (U13-U18’s) £12 per month

ALL SENIOR PLAYERS (male and Female) - £15 per month

NON PLAYERS –£80 Per annum

Students – £10.50 per month

Coach/Managers- £3.33 per month 

Family Memberships – £16.66 per month

All membership includes access to all senior home games.

Second child discount available.

Memberships will be available on the club app and website as of the start of August.

PROPOSED UPDATES TO THE CLUB CONSTITUTION 14TH JUNE 2025

As part of our responsibility as a club, we are periodically required to review and update our Constitution.

      The proposed updates are highlighted and will be put to the AGM on 11th June 2025. 

3      MEMBERSHIP

        Senior (playing) 

        Senior (non-playing) 
         Life 

        Junior (applies to persons under the age of 18 as at 1st September each season and 

        who will be eligible for full membership on attaining age 18)

         Family Membership
         Student Membership

The Committee of DSR shall refuse membership, or remove it, only for good cause such as conduct or character likely to bring DSR or the sport into disrepute. Appeal against refusal or removal may be made to the Committee, who may if appropriate establish a temporary independent sub-committee to review the decision.

9    MANAGEMENT

The management and business affairs of DSR shall be vested in a Committee consisting of the President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Minute Secretary, Fixture Secretary, Membership Secretary, and up to five other members who will all be elected at the Annual General Meeting. The members without a specified title will be allocated responsibilities as required. 

The whole of the Committee, excluding the President who is elected for two years, shall retire at the Annual General Meeting but shall be eligible for re-election at that meeting.

 10 CAPTAINS AND VICE CAPTAINS

The captains’ or a players’ representative will be members of the Senior Rugby sub-committee and should that committee not be formed they will be ex-officio members of the Management Committee.

14  ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING 

Attendance at AGMs or EGMs is restricted to fully paid-up members only.

  16  SUSPENSION AND EXPULSION OF MEMBERS

The Committee shall have the power by a majority of its entire number to suspend or 

expel any member of whatever category whose conduct appears to them to endanger 

the character, interests, or good order of the Club or who acts in defiance of its

Constitution, but subject always to a personal hearing by the Committee 

before any decision is made regarding the expulsion. Such member will have the right

to appeal against any decision by writing to the Committee, who may if appropriate establish a temporary independent sub-committee to review the decision.
